Gawhar Khanum's power of attorney to Mas‘ud Khan ‘Adl al-Mulk, 1918
Gawhar Khanum, Salar Zafar's mother, gives Mirza Mas‘ud Khan ‘Adl al-Mulk the power of attorney to sell two-sixths of Varzaqan village in the district of Qarajah Dagh of Azarbayjan for five thousand and two hundred tumans; the sale includes the right, as long as the sumn [one-eighth] as determined by Gawhar Khanum, is paid. The attorney is also responsible for selling one-sixth of the property for two thousand and five hundred tumans; includes a right of revocation. Settlements of Baygum Khanum and Narjis Khanum, 1868 and 1877
1- Baygum Khanum gives the power of attorney for the collection and division of her paternal inheritance from her brother, Aqa Muhammad ʻAli (known as Kas Aqa), to her husband, Aqa Muhammad the son of Haji Ismaʻil (July 8, 1868); 2- Settlement of Mirza Musa Khan and Muhammad Khan representing themselves and their wives, Narjis Khanum and Baygum Khanum, with Muhammad ʻAli (known as Kas Aqa [their brother-in-law]) regarding the maternal inheritance of their wives and the deductions due to the payment of her debts (September 16, 1877).
